| Kutubuddin Maquabara : About a kilometer from the Pratapnagar Railway Crossing near Pratapnagar overbridge is a mausoleum of Kutubuddin, the Governor of Gujarat deputed by Akbar the Great. Kutubuddin was assassinated by Muzaffar Shah the last Sultan of Gujarat. Built on the Safari persian model, this mosque is the first Padshahi building in the city. The mausoleum is looked after by the Archaeology Survey of India. It is open to all. |
