| Laheripura Gate : Located to the east of the district court Nyayamandir is the picturesque Laheripura gate. It is the western gateway to the old Vadodara city – a fortified part of the city. The gate was erected in the 16th century by Khalilkhan, the son and successor of Mehmud Begda the Sultan of Gujarat. The gate still has a magnificent look and is eye catching when illuminated on special festivals. |
